Green Tourmaline: the perfect stone of balance and harmony [1]
Tourmaline is a large family of gems occurring in every color of the rainbow and many different combinations of two stones of colors: pink, green (watermelon), pink-blue, gold, green and blue-green, for example. Each color has its own name, but is often called simply by their color, like pink Rubellite tourmaline, blue tourmaline for Indigolite, green and pink tourmaline watermelon tourmaline. Tourmalines are available as faceted or cabochon cut stones, cabochons with some of the eyes show of a cat.

This is a very hard stone with a Mohs hardness of 7 to 7 ½. It has a hexagonal crystal structure. The raw crystal wand (a long beak) can be used in jewelry rough or cut, because of its natural beauty. Cut pieces of glass wand can be found in beautiful color combinations and unique. This makes it especially nice pendants and earrings.
One of the unique properties of Tourmaline is the piezoelectric charge: when the crystal is heated or pressure is applied, it becomes electrically charged, which has the ability to attract dust or small pieces of paper. Because of this quality is the best stone Tourmaline for our nervous system. It acts on the electrical flow within the body, restore balance and mind-body system and especially in the brain to good operating condition.
Green Tourmaline occurs in several different color variations, including a warm green tone, similar to Peridot, and a dye dark blue.
Like all green gems, green Tourmaline balances and regulates the heart fitness. Calm the nervous system and helps us relax and regenerate after long illness. Their frequency is similar to that of other green things in nature: it connects us with the balm soothing green of the rainforest and satisfies our desire to be involved and fed by Mother Nature.
Green tourmaline is associated with the planets Venus and Jupiter. Gemini needs all the help they can get from these two planets.
