FREAKOUT FASHION! What to wear to an interview with a very successful jewelry designer?
I'm afraid to look too crisp. His pieces are in some of the most fashionable boutiques around the world and has appeared in various magazines. Normally interview in my black suit, but I'm not sure it's appropriate. Help! His office is on the beach, but it remains an office … any suggestion of someone who has been there it would be good Or anyone who has an idea of what to wear for an interview with someone who is a sort of "in the business." The position I'm interviewing for the office and involves creative work, and therefore do not want to seem too "professional" – a bit of hip and original. I have been in his office before, and I have no idea what the dress code is or what your other employees wear. Should I wear high heels? High-heeled sandals? Pumps?
Hey … do not worry, this summer I had to interview for an internship in a house fashion and I got it! The point is to realize its Boho atmosphere and not hers. First is an interview, so try to deviate from jeans! You keep trying to get a job, so no "Casual Friday" until you have actually got the job. Opt for a suit in a brighter color, or if you still want put to the monochrome shades, go for a well-tailored white suit with beautiful gold accessories, metal is in this season. If you wear jewelry or not, depends on you … I would jewelers only to look pulled-together, even if it's just a watch or earrings. The accessories are of you, but used as a way to show your creative side: shoes bright ribbon tied necklace, anything that shows that you're more of a girl in a suit. Top it off with a bag of fun rather than a suitcase, only make sure that does not seem to un-done! That should be cool for the interview! Good luck! ** Hope that helps **
